This project is the social design part of my David Bowie project: Fashion.​

I was inspired by David Bowie's androgynous fashion style to see how much gender really affects the clothes we wear.

I got some clothing from the second hand store and asked people to model them for me. Some people I gave 2 bags one labelled "male clothing", one labelled "female clothing" and other I gave 1 bag just with clothing.

To the ones I gave 2 I said "these are the female clothes and these are the male clothes pick what you want and make an outfit'. And with the other I just gave them the bag and said "pick what you want and make an outfit".

After they picked their outfits I took pictures of them in their outfits. And these were the results I got.
